Commercial Photography for Businesses

Business headshots, your space, your products and your finished work, shot on location in New Jersey and New York. Real photos that put faces to names and replace stock imagery for good.

Why Professional Business Photography Matters

High-resolution, professionally shot images change how people read your business before they ever call. Customers see a company that is established, credible and forward-thinking. Stock imagery or phone snapshots do the opposite: faceless, generic, easy to scroll past.

Optix handles commercial photography for businesses across New Jersey and New York: business headshots, interiors and storefronts, product photography and the finished work you are proud of. Every shoot is scoped to how you will actually use the photos, from your website and Google Business Profile to social media, ads and print.

Photography pricing

How photography pricing works.

01

Custom scoped.

Every project is quoted to its scope. There is no rate card and no package tiers.

02

A small engagement fee.

One-time and non-refundable. It locks your date and starts logistics. It is not credited toward the invoice.

03

Rush has a premium.

Need it faster than standard? The premium is built into the quote up front, not added later.

04

Balance on delivery.

Final files land in your shared folder, then the remaining balance is invoiced.

Photo licensing

Usage rights, in plain English.

Pick the tier that matches where the photos will live. Licensing is part of every commercial photography quote, so there are no surprises later.

Get ready

What to have ready on shoot day.

Five things that make a half-day business photography shoot go like a half day.

Who should be there?

Owner or a decision-maker for the first hour, plus anyone being photographed. Everyone else can work as normal.

What should people wear?

Solid colors in your brand palette, nothing with big logos or fine stripes. Bring one change of top.

How should the space look?

Clean, lit and open the way you would want a customer to see it. We handle styling details on the day.

How long does each category take?

Roughly an hour each for team, space and products. Finished jobs depend on how many we are shooting.

What if we need a specific shot?

Put it on the shot list during logistics. Anything on the list gets shot first.

FAQ

Commercial photography questions, answered.

Straight answers to what New Jersey and New York businesses ask before booking a shoot.

Commercial photography is photography made to promote or sell a business: team headshots, your storefront and interior, your products and your finished work. Optix Marketing shoots it on location for businesses across New Jersey and New York and delivers a library you can reuse on your website, Google Business Profile, social media, ads and print.

Optix quotes every photography project to its scope, not a rate card. The price depends on shoot length (half day, full day or multi-day), location, how many edited photos you need, usage rights, whether models are involved, equipment such as lighting rigs or drones, and post-production like color grading or heavy retouching. A one-time, non-refundable engagement fee locks your date and the balance is invoiced on delivery. The scope builder above shows what moves the number.

Yes. Business headshots and candid working shots of your team are one of the four categories in every Optix shoot, photographed at your location so the background is your real workplace. They are delivered sized for your website, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile.

That is set during scoping. Typical shoots deliver up to 25 or up to 50 edited photos, and a full-day shoot can build a library of 100 or more. Every photo is edited and delivered to your shared folder, organized by category, with social crops and web and print sizes as scoped.

Roughly an hour each for team, space and products on the day, with finished-job shots depending on how many jobs we are covering. Edited photos are delivered in about one to two weeks for a half-day shoot and two to three weeks for a full day or a large library. Rush turnaround is available and priced into the quote.

Yes, depending on the usage tier in your quote. Social-only covers your own channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and your Google profile. Web and print adds your website, email, brochures, signage and trade shows. Full commercial adds paid ads, packaging, press and third-party use.

Stock photos look like every other business and customers can tell. Real photos of your team, your space and your work build trust before anyone picks up the phone, and they perform better on Google Business Profile and social media because they are unique to you. The stock-vs-yours slider above shows the difference on the same page layout.
