A website built to win the work.

Make more money with a custom-built, conversion-optimized website that speaks to search engines and your target audience.

Who This Is For

Established businesses whose current website is holding the rest of the business back.

you hesitate to share it

Outdated, slow, or embarrassing to send to a good lead

you blend in

Built on a template that looks like every competitor's

visitors don't act

Getting decent traffic but producing no calls or enquiries

you're stuck

Impossible to update without ringing whoever built it

it undersells you

Sending the wrong signal about the quality of your work

Most Small-Business Websites Are Built One of Two Ways

Trap 01

The DIY template

Fast, cheap, and it looks it. Every competitor in your trade has the same one, often in the same colors.

Trap 02

“My nephew builds websites”

No plan, no structure, no writing, nothing set up for search. And good luck being able to update it.

Trap 03

“I’ll have Ai do it”

Poor quality websites + Unqualified builders = a nightmare waiting to happen. Ai websites can ruin your website visibility

What We Build

A custom WordPress site — the platform that keeps ownership and flexibility in your hands rather than locking you into ours.

01

Genuinely custom

Designed from scratch and shown to you before anything gets built. No template, no reskin.

02

Phones first

Most of your visitors are on a phone. We design and approve the phone version
separately, not as an afterthought.

03

Built to get enquiries

Laid out around the actions you need people to take — call, book, request a quote.

04

Ready to be found

Proper page structure, optimized images, and the technical groundwork search
engines need, from day one.

05

Fast

Quick to load, and we keep an eye on it. Slow pages lose people before they read a word.

06

Yours to update

We train you on it at handover. You’re not dependent on us to change a phone number.

Two Ways to Staff It

Every site gets the same process, the same testing, and the same standard of finish. The difference is how much thinking a page needs — and who does it.

How they differ

Standard

For businesses looking to start a presence

Senior

When the work is more demanding

Best for

Straightforward pages and a clear, simple message

Content-heavy pages, an established brand, or anything complicated

Who works on it

A designer, a writer, and a developer

A designer, a writer, and a developer — each with more years behind them

Design approach

Custom design built on proven, well-tested page structures

Custom design from a blank page, with more exploration before we commit

The writing

Clear, direct copy that says what you do and asks for the call

More voice and positioning work — for when how you sound is part of the sell

Revision rounds

Standard rounds at each approval point

More room to iterate before sign-off

Complex features

Booking forms, galleries, service pages

Connections to your other software, calculators, gated content, member areas

Who works on it

What You Get

Design & words

before we build

The build

on a private version first

Before it goes live

nothing left to chance

How We Work

Kickoff

We dig into who you serve, how you sell, what’s working, and what a win looks like.

Direction

We show you three different homepage directions. You pick one.

Layout & words

We lay out every page and write the copy as we go, so words and design fit each other.

Design

The whole site designed for desktop, tablet, and phone, for your approval.

Build

We build the design you approved on a private version only you and we can see.

Before launch

We review it, walk you through it, take your final notes, and get your sign-off.

Launch

Go live, tracking configured, search engines notified, and a final check of everything.

Timeline

6–10

weeks

from kickoff to launch

What moves that number:
01 How many pages the site needs
02 Whether it needs booking, a shop, or other connected systems
03 How quickly you come back to us at each approval point
04 Whether photography or video needs doing first

What Results Look Like

A new website is the single biggest upgrade to everything else you spend on marketing — because everything else eventually lands here.

More of your existing visitors get in touch

You stop losing good leads on the page. Same traffic, more enquiries.

You perform better in search

A clean foundation and proper structure, so search engines can do their job.

More calls, forms, and bookings

From the traffic you’re already paying for.

You stop thinking about your website

For the next three to five years, it’s handled.

What Clients Say

HUDSON COUNTY & BEYOND

The team at Optix listened to our needs, provided excellent insights, and delivered a website that exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend Optix Marketing for their professionalism and creativity.

We hired Optix Marketing to handle Sugar Tree Cafe’s marketing. They have done a fantastic job with everything they have created and handled for us. We have really seen an improvement since hiring them.

What We Need From You

You’re running a business. You shouldn’t have to run us too. Here’s the honest ask on your time — and that’s the whole list.

5–7 hours

spread across the whole project.

A kickoff conversation

Who you serve, how you sell, what's working, and what you want the site doing. Usually 60–90 minutes.

An interview for the writing

We write the copy, but the substance has to come from you. One good conversation covers it.

Photos, if you have them

Good photography makes an enormous difference. If you don't have any, we'll advise on timing so it doesn't hold things up.

A decision at four points

Direction, design, build, launch. We won't move forward on a guess.

Why Optix for Web Design

We design before we build.

Every page approved before a line of code. You see exactly what you’re getting.

We write the words.

Most agencies hand you a layout and say “fill in the text.” We don’t. You’ll be interviewed, and you’ll approve every word.

Phones aren't an afterthought.

Every design gets approved on a phone separately from desktop, because that’s where most of your visitors are.

No templates, no reskins.

Your site is built for your business, not adapted from someone else’s.

Handover done properly.

You own the site. We train your team. No hostage situations.

Common Questions

“Do I have to be on WordPress?”

We build on WordPress because it gives you ownership, flexibility, and an enormous range of add-ons. If you have a strong reason to be on something else, we’ll talk it through on the consult.

We do, as part of the project. You’ll be interviewed during discovery, and you’ll review every word before it goes live.

Both follow the same process and get the same testing and finish. Senior puts more experienced people on it and allows more exploration and iteration — which matters when your pages are content-heavy, your brand is well established, or the site needs to do something complicated. For a lot of businesses Standard is genuinely the right answer, and we’ll tell you so rather than upsell you.

Any pages added mid-project are quoted at the agreed rate before work starts. No surprise invoices.

For most sites, yes — good photography makes an enormous difference. If you don’t have it, we can include a shoot or advise on timing so it doesn’t hold the project up.

Most clients move onto a website maintenance plan — updates, backups, security, and small changes. We cover that as its own service.
