Who This Is For

Businesses selling real products online — whether you’re starting out or your current store is holding you back.

first store

Launching your first online store and want it done right

outgrown it

On a platform you've outgrown — Squarespace, Wix, an aging WooCommerce site

looks generic

Running a generic theme and losing to brands with real custom stores

patched together

Need the setup done properly — email, reviews, shipping, tracking — not a DIY patchwork

ready to grow

Want a store that's ready for ads, email, and search from day one

Most Small-Business Stores Fall Into One of Two Traps

Trap 01

The default theme

A cheap theme installed, fifteen products uploaded, never
touched again. It looks like every other store on the platform —
because it is.

Trap 02

The overbuilt patch job

Built years ago by a freelancer, held together with add-ons,
impossible to update, and frightening to touch in case
something breaks.

What We Build

We build on Shopify by default — it’s where the tools are best and the upkeep is cheapest. We’ll use WooCommerce when your business genuinely calls for it.

01

Looks like you

Designed for your brand and shown to you before anything gets built — not picked off a shelf.

02

Built so people buy

Product pages, category pages, and checkout laid out around how people actually shop.

03

Everything connected properly

Email, reviews, shipping,
accounting, and tracking
installed, set up, and tested. Not “add the app and hope.”

04

Handed over cleanly

You own the store, you can edit it, and you’re not tied to us to make changes.

Three Ways to Build It

Same care in all three — they differ in how much store there is to build. We’ll tell you which one you need on the call, based on your catalog and what you need connected.

How We Work

Kickoff

We dig into your products, your buyers, and what success looks like six months after launch.

Direction

We show you three different homepage directions. You pick one.

Layout & words

We lay out every page — including product and category pages — and write the copy as we go.

Design

The whole store designed for desktop, tablet, and phone, for your approval.

Setup

Your store account set up, a private build version created, and the tools planned out.

Build

We build the design you approved. Products loaded. Payment, shipping, and tax configured.

Connect & test

Every tool installed and tested. Real test purchases put through, start to finish, on phone and desktop.

Pre-launch

We review it, show you, take your final notes, and get your sign-off to go live.

Launch

Go live, domain pointed, and we confirm your sales tracking is recording correctly.

Timeline

Launch

6–8 weeks

Growth

8–12 weeks

Scale

12–16 weeks

How long it takes depends on how many products you have, how much needs connecting, whether you’re moving from another platform, and how quickly you come back to us at each approval point.

What Results Look Like

01 A store that looks like your brand, not a template
02 A checkout that works — tested end to end before anyone can use it
03 Your automatic emails live from day one, so no sale slips through
04 Sales tracking that reports the truth, so you can trust what your ads and emails are telling you
05 The store in your hands — you own it and you can edit it
06 A foundation your ads, email, and search work can actually build on

What We Need From You

You’re running a business. You shouldn’t have to run us too. Here’s the honest ask on your time — and that’s the whole list.

8–12 hours

spread across the whole build.

A kickoff conversation about your products

What sells, what doesn't, who buys it, and what you want the store doing six months from now.

Your product information and photos

Descriptions, prices, variations, and images. This is the one thing that can hold a build up — we'll flag it early if it isn't ready.

A decision at four points

Direction, design, build, launch. We won't move forward on a guess.

Access to what you already have

Your current store or platform, your domain, and any tools you're already paying for.

Why Optix for E-Commerce

We build on Shopify by default.

Not on whatever we happen to know. It has the best tools, the strongest checkout, and the lowest upkeep for a business
your size.

Custom, never templated.

Your store is designed and shown to you before a line of it gets built. You know exactly what you’re getting.

Checkout is sacred.

We re-test checkout on every build and every update afterwards. Most agencies skip this. A broken checkout is a closed shop.

Connected properly, then documented.

Email, reviews, shipping, accounting — installed, configured, tested, and written down.

We don't launch on numbers we can't trust.

We confirm your sales tracking is recording correctly before go-live, so your ad and email reports aren’t lying to you.

Clean handover.

You own the store. You can edit it. You’re not locked to us.

Common Questions

“Do you build on WooCommerce?”

Yes, when it fits. Shopify is our default because the tools, the checkout, and the ongoing upkeep are significantly better for most small businesses. We’ll build on WooCommerce when your business has specific reasons — a content-heavy site, a deep WordPress setup, or something Shopify genuinely can’t do.

We work that out on the consult, based on how many products you have, what needs connecting, and how complex the store is. Roughly: a small catalog and a simple setup is Launch. A mid-sized catalog with email and the standard tools is Growth. Moving platforms, subscriptions, or a large catalog is Scale.

Yes — Shopify bills you directly, and the same goes for any tools you use like email or shipping apps. We don’t process or mark up those fees.

Photography is a separate service, quoted on your catalog size and the style you want. You can also supply your own. We’ll flag it at kickoff if photos aren’t ready, because the design can’t be finished without them.

Yes. It’s included in Scale and available as an add-on for Launch and Growth. We handle your products, your web addresses, your customer list, and your order history — as far as your current platform lets us export it.

We quote bulk uploads above the tier separately. Plenty of clients start at their tier’s count and grow the catalog over time through ongoing store maintenance.

Most clients move onto e-commerce maintenance. Looking after a store is genuinely different from looking after a normal website — more moving parts, and a broken checkout costs you money — so we handle it as its own service.

Yes. Email marketing, social advertising, and Google Shopping are separate services. Many store clients pair the build with one or two of them.
